Vegetable Garden Project
In June 2024, our Betssonites in Greece took part in a Vegetable Garden Project in collaboration with The Earth Organization – Οργάνωση ΓΗ. Using “farm to table” techniques, our Betssonites participated in a collective kitchen using seasonal ingredients from an organic vegetable garden. They also helped prepare meals for donation to those in need, fostering a spirit of solidarity and community while supporting local organisations.
Our team also participated in a Sustainable Bio Waste Management Workshop. The objective was to propose and implement ideas for alternative management of household organic waste, facilitating the shift from a linear to a circular economy. They learn how to reduce food waste at home and turn organic leftovers into compost.
