Preserving Bees
As a fun initiative within our Social Impact calendar, we organised a Bee Hotel competition for our Betssonites in Sweden. This initiative was designed to not only foster a sense of community but also to actively raise awareness and educate about the crucial importance of preserving bees.
Well done to our deserving winners, Alexandra Laurell and Denys Lashchevskyi.
Preserving bees is crucial for maintaining healthy ecosystems and securing global food production. Bees, as primary pollinators, play a vital role in the reproduction of flowering plants, ensuring the abundance and diversity of crops. Their cross-pollination activities enhance genetic diversity, benefiting both agricultural and natural landscapes. Protecting bees is integral to sustaining biodiversity and securing the foundation of our food supply.
